Dwight and Yana's European-infused club-style Wedding Bash

The Superband and The Remix Concept were recommended by Alexis of Weddings By Alexis to perform at Dwight and Yana's modern, dance club-infused modern wedding bash at Belle Mer in Newport. Both bride and groom had discerning musical tastes and really wanted to create a "non-wedding" "nightclub" lounge/dance party. Cocktail grooves were provided by The ReMix Concept playing jazzy versions of With Or Without You, Sexy Back, and Chasing Cars, which fit the low-light lounge vibe of The Belle Mer. The dinner backdrop was performed by The Superband, which did a very cool remix of the song ABBA's "Dancing Queen", which sounded so chill and groovy. Later on, during the European Dance Club segment, the band segued between hits by dance-club sensations Brazlian Girls, 80's artists Blondie, and Russian dance artists. Though the songs weren't included on their playlist, The Superband customized them for the event, per client request. Throughout it all, energetic photographer Eric Laurits, didn't miss a beat, and captured the band in an inspired performance!
