It was another wonderful summer weekend here at Siman Entertainment. DJ Mike kept a cool vibe for a beautiful wedding at the State Room in Boston. With floor to ceiling windows, wonderful service, and a beautiful view of Faneuil Hall, the State Room is a beautiful venue for any event!

Siman Entertainment's sister company Middle C Music finished up its first week of Summer Tunes Music Day Program! The kids had a wonderful time jamming and rehearsing, learning music history, and also performing a concert! The final performance concert video will be up on YouTube soon. Hope everyone is enjoying and taking advantage of the summer weather! This past weekend, Siman Entertainment was at the Harvard Club in Boston. The SE Jazz Trio played the cocktail hour for the most elegant wedding, with a beautiful grand piano brining the perfect vibe. SE DJ Eric took over for the reception, and kept the feel of the engagement upbeat and exciting through the night. The Harvard Club is so classy and filled with history; the perfect place for any wedding, maybe even yours!

Today kicks of the first week of our sister company Middle C Music's Summer Tunes Music Program! An exciting day program for kids ages 6-16, beginners to advanced, who want to learn and further their music skills in a fun yet educational environment. Students get to jam in exciting band settings, perform a concert of covers and self-written material, and even record a CD in a studio setting! Instructors have experience playing with musicians of Beyonce to The Black Eyed Peas. This past weekend we went to a beautiful wedding at the Boston Public Library. It was held in the library's center courtyard and the ceremony was absolutely incredible. The SE Guitar and Flute Duo gave the perfect accent and created a flawless flow for the ceremony. As soon as the ceremony was done, our SE Mariachi Band strolled into the courtyard playing a mariachi classic and all guests were floored by the excellent presentation; the energy immediately picked up. Cocktail hour, organized by The Catered Affair, was underway and the SE Mariachi Band made its way throughout the courtyard until it was over. The venue was absolutely gorgeous; check out the Boston Public Library HERE for your wedding!

We also were at the Hyatt Regency Hotel in Boston on Saturday at another beautiful ceremony. The SE String Trio started off the cocktail hour providing the perfect vibe and the energy picked up with the SE DJ all-inclusive package for dinner and dancing.

The SE String Trio and Trumpet also played on Sunday for a gorgeous ceremony at The Fairmont Copley Plaza. The SE DJ provided music for dinner and dancing, and made it an event guests would remember.

So, it's the first truly nice day of the season! It's going up to 70 degrees today! How exciting is that?!

Aside from the weather, we are gearing up for a super busy wedding season in these next few months! We are also doing showcases this summer ALL OVER New England! Some of the places we are going this summer are: Connecticut, Rhode Island, Vermont, New Hampshire, New York, Maine, and of course, Massachusetts.

We have lots of exciting news to talk about this week!

We are thrilled to announce that Darren has been asked to be a judge for Emerson College's The EVVY Awards. He will be one of three judges listening to and choosing the best student works in the Best Original Song category. We are honored that the EVVYs has asked him to be a judge and he is very excited to do this! If you want to know more about The EVVYs check out their website at www.evvyawards.org.

In other news, Audra will be speaking on a panel of Event Planning Professionals at an Event Planning workshop hosted by Emerson College and The EVVY Awards! The panel discussion will be held on March 29 at Emerson College.

This past weekend Siman Entertainment had a booth at a wedding and bar mitzvah showcase. There were awesome balloon animals, really cool grafitti and even a talking robot!!

This Sunday we have a Bounce and Superband showcase in Brookline. It is by appointment only. Please contact us if you're interested in seeing us.

On Thursday we played at the beautiful new Bloomingdales Registry at the Kleinfeld "Say Yes to the Dress" event. There were delicious cocktails, heart shaped raviolis by Table of Contents, exquisite cake by Jennys Wedding Cakes, and gorgeous flowers by Dana Markos.
